What I learned from the rough cut

Before I would be ready to make my project public I felt it would be important to gather some final thoughts from a focus group of colleagues and friends, of a similar target audience, to discover what they believed I should change with my project.

Here is a brief look at the rough cut

From their reactions, I learned that I have a few big changes that are needed to make my project stronger.

Changes

  • Change of backing track as it doesn’t fit the theme of the documentary
  • Project script needs editing to help the project flow stronger.
  • Stronger introduction (Needs to be more eye catching
  • The flow of the production needs to be more fluid.

Hopefully after making these changes, the final production of my Radio Documentary will avoid any repeated mistakes, without creating any new issues.
